About this blog

Why has she created a blog about television?
What is this page about?
Who is this person?

As you may already know, I am Christine. But who is Christine? Well, I am a junior in high school and I have created this blog mainly because my Journalism teacher has assigned us to. I was born on Christmas Eve, I love the color purple, I enjoy playing sports such as water polo, basketball and snowboarding, when I am hungry I gobble down food as if there is a whole in my stomach, I go to church because my parents want me to, I am part of the school a capella choir (although I am a horrible singer and cannot hit those high notes), I am a staff writer for the school newspaper, I am currently learning how to knit and have failed in trying to learn how to beatbox, and sleep is my enemy; I only get 6 hours of it.

Enough random facts about me. Now that you have a broad idea of who I am.. Where does television fit in my life?
To be honest, I do not watch television on a daily basis. As I have mentioned before, I do not even have the time to sleep a full 8 hours a day. So how can I write about TV shows when I do not spend enough time with my television?
Like a good friend, television is here for me in my time of need (and boredom). We may not spend every waking moment together, but after a long, restless week I can always depend on my reliable friend Mr. Sony. I house him and shelter him, and in return he entertains me and brings joy to my family when asked to.
One can say that we have a "friends with benefits" relationship. I am able to watch from different televisions and he is able to be watched by others as well. I love my television and regardless my busy schedule, I find time to watch.

Some shows I may be writing about or critiquing in this blog include the following genres: cartoons, dramas, comedies, sports, movies, anime, reality television, music, cooking, news, game shows, etc.
So hit that follow button and stay tuned for more.
